Easter Rising Farm is a 90-acre family farm located on Laughery Creek in Friendship, Indiana. We specialize in raising grass-fed livestock, including chickens, pigs, cattle, and turkeys for the Ohio River Valley.
More and more, people are asking questions about their food, such as, “Who is responsible for the quality of my family’s food?” and, “Are there hidden costs behind the supermarket price tag?”
We at Easter Rising strive to be part of the answer to these questions. We work hard to produce good food that is part of a local economy, supporting accountability, responsibility and the relationships between farmers and their neighbors.
Our food is superior to anything you will find in a grocery store, even if you buy exclusively organic goods. Our methods, level of care, and attention to detail result in food that goes far beyond anything under the USDA Certified Organic label in both quality and husbandry.
Visiting the Farm
Friendship, Indiana is located in Ripley County on State Route 62.The town is south of Versailles, southwest of Dillsboro, and northeast of Madison. Friendship itself should appear correctly on most GPS mapping systems, Google Maps, and Mapquest. However, it helps to double-check, if you have never visited the farm.
